College as a TNTEU Exam Center
For the B.Ed. and M.Ed. exams, TNTEU designated St. Justin’s College of Education as the testing site. The exam was taken by over 300 students from various colleges. The university assigned Mr. Thavasi, an assistant professor at the Parasakthi College of Education in Peraiyur, Madurai, to oversee the examination. Rev. Dr. Mary Delphine, the principal of St. Justin’s College of Education, served as the chief superintendent. The exam was held from August 3rd to August 14th, 2023, at the exam centre.
College as a Valuation Centre
The college as a centre of valuation from 08.09.2023 until16.09.2023, our college serves as a valuation centre for theory papers for the B.Ed. and M.Ed. A panel of 170 experts from different colleges evaluated close to fifty thousand submissions. The camp officer was Rev. Dr. Mary Delphine, principal of St. Justin’s College of Education.
External Examination
Due to National Lockdown (Covid-19), the examination committee was not able to conduct the revision and model exam for the I and II year B.Ed. and M.Ed. students in offline mode. The University Grants Commission has requested the higher education institutions in the country to temporarily suspend all the offline examinations to be held in May also UGC has advised the universities to conduct the online examination after reviewing the local conditions. So, TNTEU planned to execute an online test as per UGC guidelines. So, the committee planned to direct the mock test for the students and make them practice in online mode. So, the mock test was conducted for II-year B.Ed. and M.Ed. students on 18.9.2020 and 19.9.2020.
Then TNTEU announced the external exam date for the II-year B.Ed. and M.ED students. The exam started from 23.09.2020 to 28.09.2020. They published the result on 11.11.2020. Also mock test was conducted for the I-year B.Ed. students on 9.12.2020 and they have written their external exam from16.12.2020 to 23.12.2020
2020-2021
The whole world including India is passing through unprecedented difficult times due to the outbreak of Covid -19 pandemic. As Universities and colleges are closed due to the national lockdown, the teaching-learning process has been badly disrupted. The schedule of examinations has also got disturbed. Then the universities have issued guidelines from time to time and have taken concerned steps to impart online education by making the best use of e-resources. The faculty members have contributed a lot for the benefit of students during the lockdown period by using a number of tools like WhatsApp groups, Google Meet, Google Classroom, and zoom meet.
As per UGC guidelines, the TNTEU also adopted the online examination mode for the examination. Accordingly, they piloted the II-year B.Ed. exam from 28.06.21 to 2.07.21. Also, they are allowed to conduct the Practical examination and Viva-voce Examinations through Skype or other meeting apps. Therefore, the II year practical examination for the academic year (2019-2021) was conducted through Google Meet on 13.06.2021 and 14.07.2021. Also the M.Ed. Dissertation/ Viva-voce was conducted on 14.07.21.
The Tamil Nadu government announced to reopen the colleges on September 1 following a rotational basis. After reviewing the covid-19 situation, the university also planned to conduct an offline examination for the students. So the university announced the II semester examination date for M.Ed. students from 07.10.2021 to 12.10.2021 in offline mode.
Examination Committee
The Examination Committee is an apex body of the Institute. The main function of this Committee is to carry out examinations. Keeping a record of each and every issue related to the examination. The Examination Committee is responsible for the resolution of students’ academic performance.

Examination Result
In the month of November 2019, TNTEU released the result for M.Ed. students for the
Academic year 2017-2019. M.Ed. I and II year acquired the centum result.
The university conducted the viva-voce for the M.Ed. I year on 25.09.2019. The External examiner for the I-year examination was Dr. T. Kavitha, Assistant Professor, Government College of Education, Oarathanadu.

On 20.11.2019 TNTEU published the M.ED., degree Examination
held on May 2019. M.Ed., II year got 100% of the result.
