College Union

Our college conducted the union election for I-year student teachers on 26 October 2022 for the academic year 2022-2023. The purpose of these elections provides a sort of democratic training to the students at the college level and to teach them how to become good citizens. The system also trains the students to shoulder responsibilities. The student’s union consists of different bearers such as college leader, college Assistant leader, Union leader, Union Assistant Leader, Fine Arts Leader, Fine Arts Assistant Leader, Sports Leader, and Sports Assistant Leader.

The college bearers are elected by the students to manage the affairs of the union under the guidance and supervision of the Principal. Hence the elections are held at the beginning of the academic session after admissions are over. The contestants are allowed to explain the purpose of their candidature. Each contestant is allowed to speak for a few minutes. Ballot papers are given to the students for putting in their votes. Staff members collect the papers. Then the votes were counted.

The results are declared soon after the counting. The following students are elected as college bearers,
